There are lots of ways to connect at Colne Avenue Baptist Church.
SUNDAY WORSHIP
Join us every Sunday at 10.30am for worship, prayer and fellowship.
CHILDREN
Our Sunday morning children's group gives children a fun and welcoming space where they can learn, explore faith and make friends.
ALPHA
Got questions about life, faith and what it all means? Alpha is a relaxed and friendly place to explore Christianity, ask questions and meet new people.
YOUTH
There is a youth club held at the church on Thursdays from 4.30pm - 6.30pm run by Young Lives. This is open to all young people in years 6 - 11.
EVERGREEN
Evergreen is a monthly meet-up for anyone over 60. Each month we do a different activity or have a speaker talk to us about a hobby or interest. There is always tea/coffee and cakes. There's no charge (although donations are welcome). We usually meet on the second Thursday of the month from 2.00pm - 4.00pm.
COFFEE MORNING
Join us for coffee and biscuits on Thursday mornings from 10.00am - 12.00 noon. Everyone is welcome.
CAFE REVIVE
Cafe Revive, Millbrook, is our community cafe. It's open on Mondays and Fridays from 9.30am - 4.00pm. We serve a wide range of home-cooked meals, including an all-day breakfast, all at reasonable prices.
LITTLE LAMBS
Little Lambs is a Parent and Toddler group that runs on Wednesday mornings from 10.00am - 11.30am during term time. There is a small charge of £1 per child.
COURSES
Various courses are held which encourage us to think about our faith and how we can grow as Christians. This term there's a Discipleship course which is aimed at those who are new to faith or who want to revisit the basics of Christianity. Next term we'll be running a Theology course for those who want to dig deeper in the Bible.
TREE OF LIFE
CONNECT GROUPS
Connect Groups provide a way for our congregation to connect with one another on a regular basis. It's a place where we can pray together, build relationships and study the Bible together to help us grow into spiritually mature disciples of Jesus Christ. Some groups meet at church and some in homes. Please speak to Katrina if you would like to join one of these groups.
ENGINE ROOM
The Engine Room is a monthly meet-up for men of any age, providing a safe space to study the Bible together, and do life together. They usually meet on the second Monday of each month at 7.30pm at the church. Contact the church for more details.
